Ambassadors OF HOPE
Changing the way the world cares for orphans can happen in our lifetime, but we cannot do it alone. Together we can spread the message of hope and influence others to join the cause.
WHAT IS AN AMBASSADOR OF HOPE?
The Hope Effect’s Ambassadors of Hope are invested, passion-filled representatives who are committed to sharing the mission of The Hope Effect. Ambassadors pledge to use their voice in meaningful ways to raise awareness of The Hope Effect’s work providing family care for orphaned and vulnerable children. Ambassadors are knowledgeable about the challenges facing orphans around the world, the dangers of institutional care, and the importance of family in the life of a child.
Above all, Ambassadors of Hope have a deep desire for every child to find a loving family. The support and partnership of The Hope Effect’s Ambassadors directly impacts the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world.
WHAT DO AMBASSADORS OF HOPE DO?
Ambassadors of Hope have two main focuses: raising awareness and raising funds. Within their network, ambassadors will 1) raise awareness of the challenges orphaned and vulnerable children face around the world and 2) raise funding for The Hope Effect to help these children find loving families.
Ambassadors of Hope will:
Host 1-2 events (in person or virtual) annually to promote The Hope Effect.
Share a minimum of 2 social media posts per month (share, repost, or create original content about The Hope Effect) on their preferred social media platforms.
Work with the Executive Director to develop a personalized strategy for fundraising and giving.
