Donor-Advised Funds

Giving through a donor-advised fund is a fast, easy way to give hope to orphaned and vulnerable children.

Give hope through a donor-advised fund

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a simple, flexible, and tax-advantageous way to make a charitable donation. DAFs allow you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time. The Hope Effect gratefully accepts grants from DAFs in support of our mission to change the way the world cares for orphans. If you’d like to donate to The Hope Effect through a donor-advised fund, please consult your financial advisor and provide them with our tax I.D. number. The Hope Effect’s tax I.D. number is 47-2624962.

How do donor-advised funds work?

A donor-advised fund is like a charitable investment account for the sole purpose of supporting a cause that’s close to your heart. DAFs can be easily set up through your financial institution or a community foundation. Giving through your donor-advised fund is a wonderful way to support The Hope Effect. For more information on how to establish a DAF, please contact your financial advisor or community foundation.

Why are donor-advised funds used?

• Giving accounts have the potential to grow, possibly allowing for additional funding when you are ready to donate.
• You can easily to turn your portfolio into a significant gift to change the lives of children.
